Life of modernism is a triumph of commercialization.
Saleable even abstractions
Marketable – ideals, maxims and principles.
Family values – nutrition of consumer goods
Touchy, emotional strings are
Advertising’s fuel indispensable.

A family man’s duty foremost
Is a term insurance;
Regardless of depreciating love-juice.
Even children measure the depth of care
By the dough spent on them,
Tantrums valued and readily fulfilled.

Society has transformed its meaning
Cause Man’s no more social in his being.
He loves his privacy—
Be it among his friends, partner or neighbours.
The girl next door is a stranger forever,
A face you see, “But.... who cares who’s she!”
Busy over networking-traffic,
That’s the society one truly lives in
Loving , hating, blending and sharing
With people who may or may not be.
“That’s Hamlet’s dilemma. Let him see!”
Pomp is the virtue of the hour.
Pretence of life can be bought by the hour.
